Rock a Bye Baby Lyrics

Here’s a quick and easy lullaby to memorize.  It might get a bit boring repeating it over and over again, but it can be a ‘go to’ song when you’re tired and can’t think straight.  Here are the Rock a Bye Baby Lyrics:

Rock-a-bye baby, on the treetop,

When the wind blows, the cradle will rock,

When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall,

And down will come baby, cradle and all.

Interesting Fact: These words were first printed in 1765 in Mother Goose’s Melody.

Yep.  It’s been around for quite a while so I’m sure you know how the tune goes, but in case you want to refresh your memory or want to play it for your little one – you can watch this cute YouTube video animation.
